Project Lead/Program Manager
Contract: Up to 32 hours/week (potential to be 40 hour weeks on as needed basis)
Duration: 3 month contract + extensions
Location: Remote, but Atlanta, GA Area Preferred
Reports to: Account Director
The essence of the role
The Project Lead/Program Manager will be responsible for leading the cross-functional project team with the stated goal of rethinking the ways in which our client communicates with its customers. In this role you will be tasked with creating and executing the overall project plan, overseeing the respective team SMEs and ensuring overall project success for the audit and documentation for the initial Discovery Phase. This audit includes all existing client customer touchpoints, processes, technologies and data systems related to customer communications.
As a Strategist, you will:
- Develop and execute the overall project plan including the definition of key milestones and project deliverables. Act as the primary point of contact for all program-related communication, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the project team of four SMEs (CRM Strategist, Data Systems Analyst, Solutions Architect and Business Analyst) to ensure all deliverables within the program are executed to a high standard, maintaining focus on quality.
- Create and manage team utilization report.
- Facilitate systems access that is needed for successful audit.
- Coordinate interviews for project team SMEs with client stakeholders or partners to document relevant processes, content, platforms and technologies.
- Ensure documentation is being collected and cataloged in a cohesive and organized manner.
- Monitor and track program progress and timelines ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting on status and escalating issues to the Account Director.
- Be responsible for the final deliverable which is a comprehensive audit and documentation of all existing touchpoints, data structures, platforms and processes related to customer communications.
- Participate in Phase 2 definition
Who are you?
- 8+ years of project management/program management experience
- Experience within the SMS or push notifications space
- Experience in the telecom industry
- Experience leading cross-functional teams
- Solid listener, strong communicator – verbal, written, presentation
- Ability to manage a variety of complex projects simultaneously.
- Highly organized
- Self-starter
- Ability to overcome obstacles and think through solutions proactively
- Familiarity with project management principles
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, etc.)
